Our artisans scribble dozens of sketches before finding the right form — one that tells a story just by sitting on a shelf. This design phase can take several days, or even several weeks. It's not uncommon to see our notebooks filled with bits of inspiration: a curve spotted on an old facade, the texture of tree bark, or the delicate beauty of a stained-glass window.
The Choice of Materials: A Matter of Heart
For us, materials are never chosen at random. We prioritize local and responsible resources: wood from sustainably managed forests, natural pigments, organic cotton threads. Each material is selected for its quality, authenticity, and its own story. We regularly visit our suppliers to understand their expertise and ensure that every link in our creation chain shares our values.
Manufacturing: Hands at Work
This is where the magic takes shape. Our artisans work with tools passed down from generation to generation, but also with contemporary techniques that push the boundaries of precision. Each piece is handcrafted, one by one. No assembly line production, no compromise on quality. A single object can require several hours of work, between cutting, assembly, sanding, painting, and finishing.

Nothing leaves our workshop without having passed our in-house quality control: a meticulous visual inspection, a strength test, and the ultimate test — does this piece still make us smile after several hours of work?
