2.1 Products 🕯️

Our scented candles, scented wax melts and scented objects are designed and handmade in our workshop in Loctudy. Each creation comes with its instructions for use.

To complete our range and allow the best use of our creations, some decorative accessories (notably burners, holders or complementary objects) are selected from specialist partners. These products are chosen for their quality, their compatibility with our creations and their consistency with the Les Fondeurs d'Histoires world.

2.2 How we present our products ✨

We take great care in presenting our products to give you a faithful view of their world, colours and characteristics.

However, variations may occur depending on screens, display settings or photographic conditions.

As part of our creative approach, some illustrations, backgrounds or graphic elements are produced with the help of artificial intelligence tools, then selected, adapted, reworked and approved by our team.

These visual elements are solely intended to enrich the immersive experience and storytelling of each creation. They are not a contractual representation of the product in real-life use.

Our craft is the handmade design of scented candles and sensory objects. The associated illustrations are narrative supports intended to accompany each fragrance and extend the world of our collections.

Photographs showing the product sold (candle, wax melt, object, container, size, colour and finish) always match the real product. Only atmosphere elements, illustrations or certain staging may involve artistic interpretation or be produced with the help of artificial intelligence.

Some stories, descriptions or editorial content may also be drafted with the help of artificial intelligence tools, before being reread, corrected, enriched and approved by Les Fondeurs d'Histoires to ensure they are consistent with our world, our identity and our quality standards.

2.3 Personalised products (engraving, custom text) ✍️✨

Some products or options offered by Les Fondeurs d'Histoires may be personalised (notably laser engraving on a wooden lid, added text, names, dates, messages).

By ordering a personalised product, the Customer acknowledges and accepts that:

• The personalisation is produced exactly from the text entered when ordering.
• The Customer is solely responsible for the information they provide.
• Once the order has been confirmed and the personalisation has gone into production, no changes can be guaranteed.
• Unless otherwise stated on the product page, the personalisation constraints shown on the website form an integral part of the order.

2.4 Use of Flacon Nomade diffusers and fragrance refills 🔄

The Flacon Nomade diffusers offered by Les Fondeurs d'Histoires are designed to be used with the brand's fragrance refills.

To ensure optimal diffusion and preserve the materials (notably wood and glass), we recommend using only Les Fondeurs d'Histoires refills.

Using liquids, fragrances or refills from other sources may:

• affect how the diffuser works
• damage the materials
• change the quality of the fragrance diffusion

Consequently, Les Fondeurs d'Histoires cannot be held responsible for damage, malfunctions or deterioration resulting from the use of unsuitable products or products from other brands.

3. Online shop payment 💳

The terms of payment for products and delivery costs are shown in the order form.

Payment can be made by bank card, bank transfer, PayPal, Apple Pay or any other method offered in the shop.

The Customer guarantees that they are in good standing with the issuer of the payment method used.

Financial information is processed via secure protocols.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, excluding delivery costs.

For deliveries outside France, any customs duties and formalities are the sole responsibility of the Customer.

VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

5. Lead times and delivery 🚚

Items in stock are prepared within 24 to 48 hours (excluding holiday periods, pre-orders or exceptional events).

The product is delivered to the address or pick-up point chosen when ordering. Delivery methods, rates and conditions are detailed in our shipping policy.

The Customer must check the condition of the parcel on receipt and report any problem within 48 hours.

5a. Collection from the shop and local delivery 🚚

Collection from the shop (free)
Les Fondeurs d'Histoires offers free collection from the shop.

Once the order has been confirmed, an appointment is arranged with the Customer to hand over the products in person at: 48 Stang ar Goff, 29750 Loctudy, France.

Hand-over is by appointment only.

Local delivery by appointment
Les Fondeurs d'Histoires offers a local delivery service under the following conditions:

• Free delivery within 10 km of our shop.
• A flat contribution of €2 between 10 km and 26 km.

The place and time of hand-over are agreed with the Customer after the order.

Les Fondeurs d'Histoires reserves the right to refuse or cancel a delivery outside the area or if it is logistically impossible, offering an alternative solution.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns 🔁

6.1 Non-personalised products

In accordance with the law, the Customer has a legal period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal. Les Fondeurs d'Histoires extends this period to 30 days from receipt of the order. Return shipping costs are paid by the Customer. The product must be returned complete and in good condition, ideally in its original packaging. If the Customer withdraws from the whole order, the original delivery costs are refunded, up to the cheapest standard delivery rate offered. Full details are given in our returns and refunds policy.

6.2 Exception for personalised products ⚠️

In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised products. Personalised products cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

7. Gift cards 🎁

Gift cards are valid for 12 months. They cannot be exchanged or refunded.

8. Confidentiality and personal data 🛡️

Personal data is used solely within the commercial relationship. In accordance with the GDPR, the Customer can request access to, correction of or deletion of their data by email.

9. Dispute resolution and mediation ⚖️

In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to contact Les Fondeurs d'Histoires first at contact@lesfondeursdhistoires.com to seek an amicable solution.

In accordance with articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge.
