✨ Return and Refund Policy
Withdrawal / Return conditions – Change your mind with peace of mind
We offer a 30 day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Items sent back without a prior return request will not be accepted.

🔍 Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and resolve it as quickly as possible.
🕯️ Exceptions – Non returnable items and personalized products
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including perishable goods, gift cards, and custom made or personalized products.
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, products made according to customer specifications or clearly personalized (such as items with engraving, custom text, or any other personalization) are not eligible for the right of withdrawal.
As such, personalized products:
cannot be returned,
are not exchangeable,
and are non refundable,
even within the legal 14 day withdrawal period.
The customer is fully responsible for the text provided during the order (spelling, accents, punctuation, dates, names, etc.) ✍️
Les Fondeurs d’Histoires cannot be held responsible for input errors made by the customer when validating the order.
🔄 Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the eligible item and, once the return is accepted, place a new order separately.
Personalized products are not eligible for exchanges.
🇪🇺 14 day withdrawal period within the European Union
Notwithstanding the above, if the goods are shipped within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw within 14 days without giving any reason.
This right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized or custom made products, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
For eligible items, the product must be returned in the same condition in which you received it, unused, with tags and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase will be required.
💳 Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return to inform you whether your refund has been approved or rejected.
If approved, the refund will automatically be processed to your original payment method within a maximum of 10 business days.
Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
