Les Fondeurs d'Histoires is an artisanal workshop located in Loctudy, in the heart of Pays Bigouden in Brittany. There, we imagine and craft scented creations inspired by stories, memories, and local legends.
Candles, scented melts, and olfactory objects come to life as stories waiting to be discovered. Before diving into our world, let us tell you about the origin of the workshop, our savoir-faire, and the two artisans who bring each creation to life. 🌿

A Breton workshop, two pairs of hands, and a lot of hot wax.
The essentials
Les Fondeurs d'Histoires is an artisanal Breton workshop, located in Loctudy, Finistère, specializing in the creation of hand-poured scented candles and melts.
Each creation is made in small batches, in our workshop, using vegetable wax and fragrances selected in Grasse. We pay particular attention to the materials, the gestures, and the final quality of each piece.
For us, a candle is conceived as a sensitive and carefully crafted object, designed to accompany daily life with precision and simplicity. We create our candles and melts in the workshop, and select certain accessories from partners to enrich the experience.
The origins of the workshop
Les Fondeurs d'Histoires was born from a desire to create differently. A desire to work with materials by hand, to slow down the process, and to restore value to the objects around us.
The first creations emerged through trials, fragrance tests, formula adjustments, and countless hours spent understanding wax, wicks, and their delicate balance. Gradually, the workshop took shape, guided by a demanding and coherent artisanal approach.

This connection to the Breton territory is an integral part of our identity and our way of creating. The legends here, the light here, the scents here: everything eventually finds its way into our stories.

The wax is melted, precisely fragranced, then poured slowly. The resting and stabilization times are respected to ensure stable combustion and harmonious diffusion of the fragrance.

It is heated, weighed, rested, then tested.

Few ingredients, but all carefully chosen and consistent with our artisanal approach.
Vegetable wax
Selected for its combustion qualities and olfactory rendition, it offers a soft flame and excellent fragrance diffusion.
Grasse fragrances
Selected in the historical capital of perfumery for their richness and quality, then integrated with precision to respect the balance of each creation.
Wicks
Carefully chosen to guarantee a stable flame suited to each container. It's an invisible detail that changes everything.

Together, we create much more than candles: we ignite emotions. We are two passionate individuals about creation, materials, and stories, and it is with four hands that each creation comes to life, from the first test to the final product.
