The essentials
Les Fondeurs d'Histoires is a Breton craft workshop , located in Loctudy, Finistère , specializing in the creation of hand-poured scented candles and scented wax melts .
Each creation is made in small series, in our workshop, using vegetable wax and perfumes selected in Grasse .
We pay particular attention to the materials, the techniques, and the final quality of each piece.
At Les Fondeurs d'Histoires, the candle is conceived as a sensitive and carefully crafted object, designed to accompany everyday life with precision and simplicity.
We create our candles and wax melts in our workshop, and select certain accessories from partners to enrich the experience.
The origins of the workshop
The Story Founders were born from a desire to create differently.
A desire to work with materials by hand, to slow down the gesture and to restore value to the objects that surround us.
The first creations emerged through trials, perfume tests, formula adjustments, and many hours spent understanding wax, wicks, and their balance.
Gradually, the workshop took shape, guided by a demanding and consistent artisanal approach.
The project was built step by step, respecting the time required for any handmade creation.
The Loctudy workshop
It is in Loctudy, in the heart of Finistère , that each candle and each wax melt is imagined, poured and finished by hand.
The workshop is a living place, its rhythm dictated by the seasons, the ongoing castings, and the various stages of production.
We work in small batches , in order to preserve the quality, regularity and care given to each creation.
This link with the Breton territory is an integral part of our identity and our way of creating.
